Membership has it's privileges! As a member of the club you are able to use the club's facilities
and participate in the programs the club offers including:
- Use of the rifle and handgun ranges
- Use of the indoor and outdoor archery ranges
- Hunt on the Club property
- Participate in the special upland bird hunt
- Receive monthly news letter
- Attend the annual clambake
- Use your ATV on the Club property
- Get to know some really great people!
How To Become A Member
- Get sponsored by two current members
- Fill out the application form and bring it to a Monthly Membership Meeting along with
a check made out to "Nimrod League of Holden" for $120. ($80 first year's membership fee plus
a $40 application fee).
- Your application will be reviewed at the Monthly Executive Board Meeting then brought
before the members to vote upon at the next Monthly Membership Meeting.
- Once voted in you will be issued a membership card, gate key, decal, and copy of the bylaws.
- You will be assigned to a particular committee and we ask each member to contribute
a minimum of 8 hours of work towards the club. 8 hours might sound like a lot, but you would
be surprised how easily you can contribute these hours! If you do not contribute 8 work hours
you will be assessed a $20 surcharge on next year's dues.
How To Get Sponsored by Two Members
- Stop by the club and socialize with the members
- Attend one of our monthly meetings (membership meeting is held the 2nd Tuesday of the month)
- Join us on Thursday night at the Trap range
- Attend a Baystate Archery League event
APPLICATION FORM
Work Hours Eight work hours are required by every member annually unless you were approved for exemption by the Executive Board for disability
or other reasons deemed adequate. If you would like more information about work hours CLICK HERE.
If you are a committee chairman and would like to submit work hours for a member, you can do so by emailing them
to FRANK CORNINE.
Dues
Yearly membership dues for the Nimrod League of Holden are as follows:
- Junior Member (15 - 21 years old) = $40
- Associate Member = $80
- Senior Member = $80
- Half-Life Member (62 and older belonging to the club for 5 years) = $40
- Full-Life Member (65 and older belonging to the club for 15 years) = Free
All Members will be assessed a $20 annual administration fee after the first year of service. The annual administration
fee will be waived upon fulfillment of Article XI section V (completion of 8 work hours). New applications
will be required to submit a $40 application fee along with the first years dues.
Yearly membership dues are from January 1 to December 31 and are due by March 31 of the year in which they cover.
If a member fails to pay their dues by the March 31st deadline, they will be dropped from the rolls and need to
reapply for membership if they wish to rejoin the club.
