Welcome to the Nimrod League of Holden sportsmen's club!
The Nimrod League of Holden was established in 1923 to promote, protect, and perpetuate hunting, fishing, and trapping with equal rights for all, special privileges to none, and strict observance of the fish and game laws of this Commonwealth.

Located on Coal Kiln Road in Princeton, Massachusetts, the club occupies 450 picturesque acres of land that straddles the border of Holden and Princeton, MA. The terrain of the land varies from hardwood to conifer forest, including fields, swamp, laurel, rolling hills, and rocky ledge. There are networks of trails that intersect the property that can be used for hiking, camping, and ATV riding (club members only). The land is host to many species including deer, turkey, fox, coyote, moose, bobcat, hare, grouse, pheasant, and more.

As a non-profit organization the Club is maintained through the volunteer efforts of it's members.

Become a Member!

Membership has it's privileges! As a member of the club you are able to use the club's facilities
and participate in the programs the club offers including:

How To Become A Member:

1. Get sponsored by two current members
   
2. Fill out the application form and bring it to a Monthly Membership Meeting along with
   a check made out to "Nimrod League of Holden" for $120. ($80 first year's membership fee plus
   a $40 application fee).
   
3. Your application will be reviewed at the Monthly Executive Board Meeting then brought
   before the members to vote upon at the next Monthly Membership Meeting.
   
4. Once voted in you will be issued a membership card, gate key, decal, and copy of the bylaws.
   
5. You will be assigned to a particular committee and we ask each member to contribute
   a minimum of 8 hours of work towards the club. 8 hours might sound like a lot, but you would
   be surprised how easily you can contribute these hours!
   

How To Get Sponsored by Two Members:

1. Stop by the club and socialize with the members
   
2. Attend one of our monthly meetings (membership meeting is held the 2nd Tuesday of the month)
   
3. Join us on Thursday night for a round of Trap
   
4. Attend an archery, trap, or other public event at the Club
   

Membership Dues:

Yearly membership dues for the Nimrod League of Holden are as follows:

• Junior Member (15 - 21 years old) = $40
• Associate Member = $80
• Senior Member = $80
• Half-Life Member (62 and older belonging to the club for 5 years) = $40
• Full-Life Member (65 and older belonging to the club for 15 years) = Free

How to Get to the Club:

• Take Route 190 to exit 5
  
• Take Route 140 North
  
• Take a left onto Route 62 West
  
• After passing a school on your left, take a left on to Coal Kiln Road
  
• The Club will be on your right side, look for the sign.
